Please note:

Your abstract(s) will only be printed in the programme book if you have registered for the conference and completed the payment before 25 August 2008.

After that deadline you could bring your poster to the conference but it will not be printed in the abstract book.

Poster Format

Your poster should not exceed 90 cm in width and 150 cm in height (portrait NOT landscape format). Mounting material will be provided on site.

Poster Prizes

We encourage young investigators to submit their original work since the four best posters submitted will receive a prize of € 250 each. These prizes will be awarded on the last day of the conference.

Topics

The authors should choose one topic only for every abstract submitted. If an abstract fits into more than one of the topics below, choose the most appropriate one.

Guidelines for abstract submission

Abstracts that do not fulfil the guidelines listed below will not be reviewed by the Scientific Committee

Format and Structure

The abstracts have to be written in English according to the following instructions:
Maximum length of 300 words, minimum font 10 pt, single line spacing.

Format: 
Microsoft Word for Windows for the operating systems Windows XP, Windows NT, or Windows 98.

Structure:
Abstract title (in bold print, mixed case)
Authors (no academic titles, first name initial, last name, affiliations indicated by numbers in superscript: eg.: A. Einstein1)

Travel Bursaries

Once you have completed your demographic details, there will be an opportunity to indicate whether you would like to apply for an ESF Travel Bursary. Please see conditions (link to travel bursaries page) before applying. Along with your abstract, you will need to upload a separate file containing your CV and approximate travel costs.
