Travel bursaries

The organisers are pleased to announce that a number of ESF Travel Bursaries are available to postgraduate students and young postdoctoral scientists to attend the 3rd Functional Genomics and Disease Conference. These will cover travel costs and registration fees of up to €500 each and are offered on a competitive basis based on a submitted poster presentation.

Conditions: 

1. Applicants must submit an abstract for poster presentation
2. Applicants must be undertaking a postgraduate degree, or be within 4 years of receiving their PhD
3. Applicants must also submit a brief CV and an estimate of travel costs
4. Applications must be received by 16 June 2008

Abstracts will be judged on the basis of scientific quality by a sub-committee of the organising committee. Applicants for bursaries will be informed of a decision via email within 4 weeks of the deadline. Bursaries will be awarded at the conference
