Information
for speakers and poster presenters
The interest in submitting an abstract for the
congress was huge and the Scientific Committee chose the 11 best abstracts for
oral presentation, and further 200 abstracts will be presented as posters.
Instructions for
presenters
Allotted speaking time:
Please note that the allotted speaking time is 8 minutes plus 2 minutes for
discussion. In order to be able to keep the time schedule, please make
absolutely sure not to exceed the allotted speaking time.
Audiovisual equipment - media check
All rooms are equipped with data projector and a PC for
power-point-presentation. Please bring your power-point-presentation on a
CD-ROM or USB-stick to the media check well in advance, and 3 hours prior to
the start of your session at the very latest. Do not bring your own laptop for
the presentation.
If your presentation contains video sequences, please make sure that you pack
them with a standard codec and do not store them in QuickTime format, since
this may not be compatible with power-point-presentations.
Registration:
Please note that you are not automatically registered for the congress! In
case you have not yet registered please make sure to send in your registration
form as soon as possible or register online.
Instructions for poster
presenters
Poster format:
Your poster should not exceed 90 cm in width and 150 cm in height (portrait
NOT landscape format). Mounting material will be provided on site. Please
remember your poster number; panels will show these numbers.
All posters will be displayed during the
entire congress and should be mounted on February 28 or on March 1 by 1 p.m.
at the latest. Posters have to be on display during the whole congress and
have to be taken down on Saturday 3 March by the end of the congress. Please
note that all posters which have not been taken down by their presenters will
be automatically removed. The number of your poster board will be mailed
separately at a later stage to you.
Poster presentation details:
All posters will be viewed in a special presentation session. You were
notified by e-mail which session your poster is assigned to. During this
session you must be at your poster site and be prepared to answer questions.
